I am Kewal Karia, a cinematographer and Director of Photography based between Mumbai and Ahmedabad, originally from Rajkot. I graduated in Film Studies with a specialization in Cinematography from the Srishti Institute of Art & Technology, Bangalore.

My journey began with documentaries, including a feature project that took me across India from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. That experience shaped my instinct for natural light and adaptability on set; skills I continue to carry into narrative films, branded content, and commercials.

I have worked across diverse formats, from feature documentaries to music videos and advertisements, always driven by the power of images to hold meaning beyond words. My background in street photography further informs my visual style, rooted in authenticity and emotion.

Outside of work, I stay active with marathon training, Football, Racquet sports, and chess.
